Steady-on and flashing beacons are the ideal signaling choice for process control and status monitoring of machinery, conveyor systems, and other non-emergency alerts. Designed to either flash or burn steady these beacons are attention-getting without disrupting workflow. Typical industries include pharmaceuticals, automotive, food processing, and other manufacturing environments. All models are NEMA, or IP rated for hose-down locations. LED light sources and no moving parts mean that they can be mounted in any configuration.
High-powered xenon strobe beacons provide the best visual warning for emergency situations. Lower power models such as our Microstrobes are ideal for material handling applications. High-power units such as our 824 and Power Strobes are better suited for overhead cranes and other potentially hazardous warnings. The intense light generated by these models is designed to reflect and bounce off surfaces so that they will grab your attention even when not looking in the direction of the light itself.
Tomar Class I, Division 2 visual signals consist of both LED and xenon strobe tube models. These warning signals meet UL and / or CSA standards for installation in the appropriate classified areas. Lower-powered models such as the 2000X series LED provides just the right amount of light for status warning applications in petrochemical, pharmaceutical and other industries. Our high-power strobe and LED beacons provide high candlepower for evacuations and all emergency applications.
Flameproof visual signals are available in either xenon strobe configurations or LED. Either model is offered in copper-free aluminum alloy or GRP (Glass reinforced polyester). Marine listed and ATEX and IECEx approved for mounting in the harshest environments. Applications include offshore oil drilling rigs, petrochemical industries, and all Zone 1, 2, 21, and 22 locations.
Explosion proof warning light available in either xenon strobe tube or LED configurations. Engineered and manufactured for installations in petrochemical facilities, offshore oil platforms, and oil refineries. UL isted and classified by the NEC as Class I, Div. 1 & 2, Groups C & D, Class II, Div. 1 & 2, Groups E, F, G, and Class III, Div. 1 & 2. They also meet NEMA standards 3, 4, 4X, 7CD, and 9EFG and are marine rated for use in salt water environments. Design features include housing made of die cast high strength copper-free aluminum alloy with a baked powder epoxy finish, stainless steel hardware, o-ring sealed pre-stressed glass globe with double pitch acme threads for smooth assembly and ease of maintenance, and an optional guard which need not be removed for re-lamping.
