What is STROBESWITCH™:
TOMAR STROBESWITCH™ works like an emergency unlock feature for restricted or gate-accessed properties. It allows first responders to open a locked automatic gate as they approach and without having to exit their vehicle.

How STROBESWITCH™ Access-Control Works:
An emergency vehicle uses a optical Infrared (IR), LED, or Strobe emitter to transmit a signal. The TOMAR STROBESWITCH™ receives this signal then activates its solid-state output relay. The Access Control Relay output may be used to control security gates, fire department garage doors, and other devices. Signaling is optical by line of sight, and TOMAR STROBESWITCH™ can operate indoors or outdoors; in bright sunlight to inclement weather. The unit is not susceptible to radio frequency interference, and uses digital frequency discrimination to reject unwanted signals, such as flashlights, flashing signs, etc.

Why STROBESWITCH™:
TOMAR's STROBESWITCH™ can save precious seconds, even minutes, when it matters the most. Don’t keep out those coming to emergency aid.

Who Uses STROBESWITCH™:
Many municipalities across the United States have city codes or other regulations which require builders of gate-systems to use TOMAR STROBESWITCH™, to help protect the people and property behind the gate in the event of a fire or other emergency.
